Analytics
We use analytics to understand page visits, popular titles and general website performance. Analytics providers may process device, browser and approximate location information according to their own policies.
Local browser storage
Watchlist and favourite selections are stored locally in your browser. They provide those features and can be cleared through your browser settings.
Goldmines Picture mobile app
The mobile app stores feature preferences on the device, including recent searches, read notification items, advertising reward time and when an in-app rating request was last made. This information supports app functionality and can be removed by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app.
Optional notifications
If you choose to enable notifications, the website or mobile app stores a push subscription identifier, notification preferences, application version and general device settings such as language and time zone. We use this information only to deliver Goldmines Picture content and application updates, maintain delivery reliability and measure notification opens. You can disable notifications at any time through your browser or Android notification settings.
Mobile advertising with Google AdMob
The mobile app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to provide advertising. The SDK may automatically collect and share IP-address information used to estimate approximate location, app interactions such as launches, taps and video views, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Information transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.
Where required, the app displays Google's consent form before requesting ads. Users can revisit applicable consent choices through Privacy & ad choicesin the app's Settings tab. Android also provides controls to reset or delete the advertising ID. Learn more from Google's advertising information and Privacy Policy.
App analytics with Microsoft Clarity
The mobile app uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how the app is used and to improve it. Clarity collects app interactions such as screens viewed, taps and scrolls, session recordings of app screens, crash and diagnostic information, and device information such as device model, operating system version and an app-specific device identifier. This information is used only for analytics and is encrypted in transit. Learn more from the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Support chat with Crisp
The Contact us screen in the mobile app opens a support chat provided by Crisp. Using the chat is optional. If you start a conversation, Crisp processes the messages you send, any name, email address or files you choose to share, and technical information such as browser type, device language and approximate location derived from your IP address. We use this information only to answer your questions and provide support. Conversations are stored by Crisp on our behalf and are encrypted in transit. Comments, likes and Google sign-in
Reading comments needs no account. To comment on a movie or like movies and comments, you sign in with Google on the website or in the app. We then receive and store your Google account ID, name, email address and profile photo, together with the comments you post, the likes you give, comment reports and the users you choose to hide. Your name, photo and comments are shown publicly next to your comments. Your email address is never shown. We use this information only to run comments and likes, prevent spam and abuse, and moderate content. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.
You can delete any of your comments at any time. You can delete your whole account, including all comments and likes, in the app under Settings > Account > Delete account or on the delete account page. Deletion is immediate. Accounts that break the comment rules may be banned.
Data retention and deletion
An account is only needed for comments and likes (see above). Push subscription data is kept while notifications are enabled and is removed when you disable notifications. To request deletion of any other data associated with your device, use the contact page. Data held by Google, Microsoft and Crisp is retained according to their own policies.
Google Play ratings
The app may request an optional rating through Google Play's native in-app review interface after meaningful use. Goldmines Picture does not receive the rating response directly from that interface and does not offer rewards for ratings or reviews.
Advertising and external websites
Advertising and outbound links may be delivered by third parties. Those services may use cookies or similar technologies and are governed by their own privacy policies. Goldmines Picture does not control external websites.
